The Waste Recycling, Energy and Resource Recovery Centre (WRERRC)) is a research Centre dedicated to undertaking world-class clean-energy research, training, development and demonstrations. Our research adds to the outstanding research endeavours and sterling reputation of the University of LIVE IN GREEN within Kyaka II and Uganda. Our goal is to become a leader and research–development–demonstration powerhouse for innovative clean-energy solutions to climate change and sustainability problems in Uganda and globally.

WRERRC also focuses on the sustainable stewardship of resources. WRERRC advances technologies that recover, recycle, and reuse materials from the non-biodegradables. These advancements help to add value to the non-biodegradable wastes (like Plastics) and increase profitability, while protecting our natural resources.
